- Note these guidelines refer to patients with High and Low bleeding risk
- This is based on this MJA Article 2013 and refers to High bleeding risk as having any risk factors for major bleeding which include:
- Major bleeding within previous 4 weeks
- Surgery within the previous 2 weeks
- Platelet count less than 50 x 109/L
- Known liver disease
- Concurrent antiplatelet therapy
